Grandfather dies of massive heart attack after hearing 7 of his grandkids died all at once in fiery crash

LAKE BUTLER, Florida (CNN) — News of a crash in which seven children perished so upset their grandfather that he had a massive heart attack and died, the children’s mother said.

“I lost my daddy tonight,” Barbara Mann said Wednesday. “My dad died of a massive heart attack tonight over all this. He lost all seven of his grandkids … I can’t deal with this.”

William Scott, 62, died at his home, The Associated Press reported.

Jesus..this is ultimate proof God either dosen’t exist or has a sense of humor. I’m waiting for the family dog to spontanously burst into flames or something.

Cynthia Mann’s aunt said the girl had just dropped off another child
and was taking the rest of the children home “to get ready to go to

At least the family will have no problem popping out more kids..a family that has 7 children is obviously religious.

“Tell them that maybe the children aren’t really ours. They’re God’s, and He just called them home.”

yeah this is actually a blessing since the children all get to go to heaven together and be with god, and heaven is a MUCH better place than earth. The church should throw a party thanking God for this incredible blessing.

kind of ironic that in order to get to heaven they had to roast alive in a hellfire-like inferno as their car burst into flames.

It said in one article they were all adopted.
    That is so sad.

That’s what I read, too… The headline in the main paper for my area (which I read online) was Fla. Highway Crash Kills 7 Adopted Kids — but it also mentions that they were religious and the fifteen-year-old sibling was driving illegally.

i have no idea what this has to do with religion – but wow! what a horribly sad story.

It amazing how badly Christians deal with the concept of death. It is just inconceivable to them that ‘shit happens’.

And according to their afterlife beleifs..they should REJOICE and praise GOd when tons of children die..since the children get to live their life in heaven.

It’s honestly such a completely inadequate way of dealing with death.
I’m partial to the Jewish custom of burying the person because they’re dead and aint coming back and this life is all we have, moving on with your life (because you are still alive, after all), then taking time out to remember them a year later.
It’s actually, you know, healthy, as opposed to living in crazy “they’re watching over me” world.
