Return of the King was boring and sucked

21 Dec

Just saw Return of the King, i really liked the battle scenes with the giant elephants..but the back-story put me to sleep. and

FOR FUCKS SAKE FRODO WILL YOU STOP BEING A PUSSY AND FAINTING 300 MILLION TIMES AND FALLING AND WHEN FACED WITH DANGER CAN YOU PLEASE ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT INSTEAD OF JUST STARING BLANKLY I MEAN FUCK

I have never been so annoyed with a character ever..i mean ever. This is a guy who falls at least 30 times per movie, faints at leats twice as much..and keeps doing idiotic things he’s not supposed to. There is not one likeable thing about this guy. I’m glad he got his fucking finger bitten off, if he had been forced to have that severed member shoved down his throat and I could see ihm slowly choke to death it would have been a great film.

YES WE GET IT..the RING CORRUPTS people..yes the point has been hammered home..jesus christ. My recommendation is buy tickets for just about any other movie, then walk in during the big elephant battle scene..then leave when its over cus everything else is boring.

God..if only they had an extended DVD version where we get to see Frodo fed into a mulching machine Id rush out and buy it.
Yea so i mean it wasn’t bad per se..but it didnt need to be fucking 3 hours 40 minutes long…it could have easily lost an hour and been just as good.

If frodo could JUST DIE A SLOW NASTY DEATH then id be happy…

THe problem is that if you’ve read the books, you know the stuff. But since he made the transistion to cinema, its like Peter Jackson made this movie for morons, and you beaten over the head with simple things like “aragorn is the king”. I think Elijah Wood had one facial expression the ENTIRE time – constipated.

The ring is extremely burdensome… what do you expect Frodo to do? Run around vigorously yelling “Let us cast off this heavy burden, onward ho!” and then gleefully prance to Mt. Doom?
    Just curious.
    rottentomatoes gave it 97%… wow.

Yes, that would have been better. I’d rather Frodo gleefully rush to the mountain and toss the ring in there, and the drama come from him overcoming huge spiders and stuff, not from him being a light-headed ninny who falls faints and whines and cries for 4 hours
